Roselle
Roselle is a welcoming suburb located about 25 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, spanning both DuPage and Cook counties. With a population of roughly 23,000, Roselle combines small-town charm and a strong sense of community with the convenience of metropolitan amenities, including easy access to Chicago via the Metra rail and proximity to O’Hare International Airport. The village features a walkable downtown with early 20th-century storefronts, unique local shops, and dining options, as well as over 150 acres of parks and green space. Roselle is known for its excellent schools, family-friendly atmosphere, and signature events like the annual Rose Fest and Rose Parade. The community’s rich history includes early settlement in the 1830s and a legacy as a commuter hub, and today it’s home to Illinois’ oldest continually operating winery, Lynfred Winery. Residents enjoy a dense suburban feel, high homeownership rates, and a blend of historic character and modern living.
